For sale is my 72 cutlass supreme convertable.Amateur restoration , does have its original 350 motor never any work done to it other than paint and accessories . turbo 350 trans and 273 one wheel peel rear end. i did everything myself on this car good or bad! would need the top redone i failed miserably trying to do it myself ,has wrinkles in it. runs great with a ton of new stuff . 15,000 obo.alot of pics on my profile of the all the stuff i did to it .

You did the paint yourself? How is the body re body filler? How are floor & trunk pans?

 

I replaced the quarter skins and one fender anything that was rotted I either cut out and rebuilt or got a new panel . And yes I painted it myself . I did everything on the car there is filler in it but not a ton.Its a good driver. As I said in the ad I’m not a pro but the price reflects that .

I may be new to posting but look at my profile, I have been an Oldsmobile guy and a member of this group since 2008, I have owned several Oldsmobiles since 1969 when I bought my 1st cutlass, back in the day when we could order exactly what wanted. As for the nice '72 Cutlass that is for sale so close to me I am quite interested, So I am not sure why the last post is so skeptical of me??

 

I am glad you spoke up. We have seen so many cases of scam artist coming on here. Having a low number or posts is one of the first signs of a scammer. I do see you have been a member since 2008. Apparently you have not been very active since you have only had 3 posts. I hope this car works out for you and the seller. The post from co2110 is very suspicious since he only joined in March.

 

yes it does seem odd that I have not posted in that amount of time but did not have need to, I do belong to the "Oldsmobile Club of America' ,SX455 Club for many years and also a Corvette club for many years. I do read the forums and learned so much; I also have been very lucky to know a couple of superior GM mechanics as well! My love of Oldsmobile is never ending and happen to be in the market for a '69 to '72 cutlass convertible again. I hope I will get a chance to see this '72.
