Recommend putting your location in the post so people know the distance from them.

Exhaust tips I'd assume. I'm not crazy about them easier but that is an easy fix.

It's a nice looking car - too bad it's so far away to look at. If it's a solid car, 7500 is not too bad a price. Also depends on what " a little rust " means. To some people it's just that, but a little surface rust usually means there's a lot of unseen rust - go ahead ask me how I know

Why does rust usually form from the inside and work outwards??

Because moisture gets trapped behind the body panels and not able to drain. There isn't enough air flow to dry out those areas so they rust.

Those tips were put on by the previous owner they are really bad because they have rolled tips but I have taken those off now. Also for how old this car is its not badly rusted and it could be made into a really nice car.

There's also another one (red/w black stripes) advertised in Surrey. Well, next year I'll be living in BC, but for now it's kind of a far drive to have a look. BTW, what is that black thing mounted on the wheel liner, just behind the washer jar? I've never seen anything like that. An add on...something or other? From what I can see of the car, your price sounds pretty reasonable. Hope you get a buyer!

That's a vacuum canister for the brakes, the cam isn't too big the engine builder put that their so the brakes would work good. Is that red with black stripes the w 30?

??? That doesn't make sense??? Why not just change the brake booster if it's not working properly? Or did something happen with the engine build that doesn't build enough vacuum pressure?? Not sure how to read this.

Not sure. It's labelled only as a rebuilt (read resto mod) 1970 442 - located in Surrey. Only says W30 stripes, does not claim to be a W30. Do you know the guy through a local club? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Oldsmobile-44...item484180eb0f

Looks pretty similar to this one in Charolette NC http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Oldsmobile-Cu...item415c3c8408

The brake booster is fine its when he built it he thought the cam wouldn't make enough vacuum and put it on it doesn't do any harm you could run the car without it.

Also that is a real w30 and hes asking a lot for it too.
