Hmmm. Haven't seen pics since 2005 and I know you did a lot of work with the tri-carb setup, underside, etc. since then. Can you PM me some more current pics? Is the #s block bare or still largely intact with Ga heads, etc? You had the build sheet too, if I recall correctly. Older pics showed the metal front air dam reinforcement still in place I think, and you had a dual snorkel air cleaner in your parts stash too. I just sold my prior V code with all of the goodies that I hunted down for it. Just seeing what my starting point might be for this one.

Thanks Brian.

Terry

HI Terry
No really recent pictures... Sorry send me an email and I can take pictures of the dirty Olds car as it sits today
It does have tri carb on it and I have extra carbs
I tore the original engine apart. I have a parts engine that has OEM low compression pistons and is a balanced assembly
I do have a set of big valve GA heads and multiple U code intakes
I do have 2 of the dual snorkel air cleaners
The car did not have the steel air dam when I purchased it. It does NOT have one today

Turn key driving car with parts $30,000

I'm in high anxiety mode now that this 1-of-77 car is available. While I mentally debate it, here is the webpage for Brian's car from my old V Code registry website (which will be back in improved form in 2019). It was the fifth Supreme hardtop to surface after I started the registry in 2000-2001. His was added in 2005.

That's a nice car! Wish I could afford it. Now, you aren't the only one in MN to have a 72 Supreme in Pewter silver and a black top. Granted mine is a 350 car, but still.

A 1972 Supreme in silver with a black top is a nice combination. I hope you get years of enjoyment with yours. I know I have had fun with mine. But , I do not drive it much / at all anymore.

Is this car listed anywhere like OldsmobileCentral? At that price I find it hard to believe it's still for sale. I mean, 1 of 77 is pretty rare, and pewter Silver is a very cool color.

I know of a creme 71 cutlass SX near Monticello, MN for sale for $15k. Been for sale for a while because it screams grandpa car (mudflaps, white walls on the SS1s, etc), which is probably why they can't sell it.
