1971 Cutlass Sport Post coupe
NOT FOR SALE YET - but if the guy who owes me money doesn't pay up by Jan 1st it will be So I'm trying to get a feel here if there is any interest.
The paint is ok but started to blister on trunk and hood... not from rust thru but poor prep work prior to the quick spray job. - I have all the wheel well trim and window trim.
I also have the back seat, but it is shot and need a full redo. It is a column shift but a B&M floor shifter was installed along with correct style buckets... interior is black.
There is some fill on the body, not much, just poor body sanding prior to paint but I'm probably making it sound worse than it is. The underside is super solid, I believe the car was from out west, but the trunk floor was cut for a fuel cell ... otherwise, it too was rust free
The engine is a built 455 with aluminum heads and this car has run low 12's as it is. (i have the time slips in the glove box.)
I would either sell it as is for $2950 or a rolling chassis for $1200 and keep the engine and transmission for myself.
Would there be any interest out here? Am I out of line on the price? Too Low?
Here are some pics and your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Car is in Northern IL

It looks like a smoking deal at 2,950, hence the two guys above me already in line to try to buy it. I suppose put me on that list too i'm local and would definitely be interested in buying that for a project.

Yes, clean title in my name. Thanks for the responses guys. Again nothing is going to happen with the sale of the car until January, and won't happen if my friend finally pays me back the money owed...
Also the prices are not set in stone, I may ask more or less depending on how much I recover from my friend before his "time is up" so to speak.
