Congrats on the sale!
Your car is very close to what mine is supposed to be...'70 442, Sherwood Green w/green interior. Mine is an auto, buckets/console car, currently painted black and not nearly as nice as yours. A previous owner butchered the original trunk lid to add the spoiler (poorly at that). It's pretty cool to get a glimpse at what I hope my car will look like some day.

now my buyer reneged deal
gentlemen,
I must report that my deal " went south " on me just 2 hrs. after I reported it was sold.
Friday evening I was given $2000 earnest to finalize on Monday----
my buyers girlfriend talked him out of it----"women".
so, I have given his deposit back just a few minutes ago----with his girlfriend in tow. I guess he wasn't my buyer-----afterall.
so I believe I will re-think this "sell my 442" for another day. my wife is telling me just to keep it. "women"
sorry for taking up time on your site----I will revisit soon.
consider the vehicle off the market----
thank you again.

I'm surprised I didn't notice this beauty during the 2-3 years I recently spent in Valpo. Couldn't miss the yellow 72 vert. And there was a clean looking black 70-71. My A-body love even caused me to give some serious thought to a GS clone.
Valpo just isn't that big. I'm surprised I never caught a glimpse of your sweet ride.
You got it, you don't need the money. Just drive the hell out of that beautiful vehicle! Maybe take some nice pictures up by the beach and come back and post them for us all to enjoy!

it's been in valpo for 17yrs. I was one of the originals that started our Friday nite cruise in which began at mcdonalds, progressed on to the target parking lot and now is held every week till labor day at the Harley dealership. we still draw 400 plus cars on Friday---make sure to come back and see us some time.

Man, nearly all the time I was there I was splitting my time, w/ wkdays there and wknds back in Chicago. So I never managed to make it over the the HD on Fridays. Always meant to, and now its too late.
