Heard an ad on radio tradio this morning went to look at this 350ci 350auto trans bucket seat counsel car. Located near Richland Center WI. Seller is named Mike 608-553-3549. Asking Price is 5500.00USD
Maybe the decimal point is off. Looks more like a 1000 dollar car to me. IF that. It is a 350 Cutlass Supreme that needs a complete restoration. Body is junk. It's not an SX. Parts car unfortunately. Not worth what it would take to bring it back to 99.9 percent of people.
Shame that that car is so far gone. That was a nice car when it was new. I see major rust issues with that car. Passenger rear quarter is wasted. No drivers front fender. Was it hit hard enough to affect the frame? That headliner is very telling of roof rot or at least moisture.

I talked with the owner when I took the pictures, the car has been sitting for quite a while, If someone would happen to be interested, I believe Mike is a stand up guy and would be willing to fill in the details and hear offers . Just thought I would share a couple pictures and the contact info. Was a pretty sweet car when it rolled off the line.
Have you guys seen what buckets and consoles are selling for lately? The seats, console and floor shift column alone are worth over $1000.
Thus my personal valuation of $550 - 1000. Transport, shipping notwithstanding, parting out a car requires space, time and a fair amount of aggravation, labor and wherewithal, followed by packing, transporting and shipping parts that have been salvaged. The parts mentioned are 80-90% of the parts value of this particular vehicle. Scrapping a picked over, possibly non rolling carcass 2 weeks to 2 years down the road is another factor.
A 442 in that state for near the asking money? Maybe. Still a pricey VIN tag though.
Yup. I agree with both of you. Hate to rip on the car but that seller reads too many internet stories. Even the seats and console are not that nice. Standard shifter. No way that car is worth anything over a grand. I assume the rear bumper is not nice as well? That car is an instant parts car. If someone could pick it up for 500 and make a driver out of it even that would be a stretch.
Like a couple of us said cool car when new. My SX was the same colors except black interior.
I saw the saddest, rustiest, most gone 67 W-30 I have yet to see on a facebook ad. Dude wanted 5k. Wrong engine, structurally compromising rust, no cleaner, oai, or the right core support. Fenderwells and hood were trashed. About all it had was oem battery cables to the trunk still there. It's almost not even worth parting. I guess I'd give him 500 for the dead frame just for measurements for the battery cables.
Yup. Unfortunately people read this or that. See ad's for stupid money. They automatically think what they have is worth way more than it is. The 70 that is the root of this post was probably a much more decent car before it sat as another Oh I will get to it someday car. So many cars run that fate unfortunately. People hold onto cars that yes may have been worth more before they sat neglected year after year. But now after sitting and rusting away they become damn near worthless. Even if this 70 was an SX a grand would be a tough call. 5500.00?? No way in hell you get anywhere near that.
