1970 Cutlass no reseave 350 (but maybe with 455)
Is it possible for 350 engines to be blue like the 455? Someone is selling a 70 Cutlass (somewhat Frankensteined) with no reserve on ebay. He says it has a 350 but I've never seen them that color.

The engine or rather thermostat housing is not 70'. The breather top is gold(SBO) the rest is red(pre 70' BBO).The rad and cap are of newer design and the head at the exhaust manifold is bluer than the manifold. I had a 77' Cutlass (long time ago) and it had a blue 350. The engine has been swapped and a can or two of paint are cheap.

In 1970 the 350s were Gold; the 455s were Blue. It was probably repainted at some point. Check the numbers on the block and the heads. For 1970, the digits between the oil fill tube and the oil sending unit. If the last digit is a letter, it's a 455; if it's a number, it's a 350. Same thing with the heads; 350s use numbers, 455s use letters.
