1970 Cutlass Convertible - $4,200 [NOT MINE]
Found this on CL and can't image it staying for sale long with the price of $4,200. From the picture it looks to be in really decent shape. Not phone number in the ad.
Classic Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. This car has the head turning red paint with the white interior and boot. Original 350 rocket engine. Runs great. Rebuilt front end. Car was a daily driver last fall. Other than that it gets about 500 miles a year. Car is all original including the working AM radio. Needs cosmetic work and a new top. The original glass window is intact.
Car is a great car to turn heads but really needs to be restored to bring it to the full beauty she deserves. I had an new interior put in about 10 years ago. Everything works as it should.
Price reflects the work that really should be done to make it truly gorgeous. Everywhere I drive it people come up and love to look at it.
Odometer reads 6600 miles. It turned a long time ago. Don't know if that was the first turn over or second. I would guess first since I've owned it since 1982.

I hope this is true and someone gets a great deal. Unfortunately my past history replying to cars with a low price tag and nice looking pictures with only email as a reply on CL is a scam to get your email. I replied to an ad for a cutlass a few years ago through email that looked "too good to be true" and shortly thereafter started getting spam emails for classic car dealerships.

I reached out to the owner via email. He said that he had "an extreme interest in my Cutlass" and that he wouldn't give me his phone number because there is too much interest. Seemed shady to me. Not to mention when I asked him for a photo of the trim tag and VIN he said he didn't know where they were located. Apparently he is showing the car on Sunday. If it is a legit car with solid frame and original drivetrain it is a steal. I just find it hard to believe that the owner has no knowledge of the car. Oh well.
