1970 442 Street Strip project
Up for sale is my 1070 442 which I have owned since 1991. I tore the car down in 2000 to repair minor rust in the toe pan and the typical light rust around the rear wheel lip. The car recieved new aftermarket quarter panels, the frame was blasted and black epoxy painted and the .095 wall moly 6 point cage was installed.

The rear suspension is a powder coated Chev 12 bolt with welded tubes, strange axles, strange spool, wilwood disks, an HPC coated Ultimate 12 girdle and a Mark Williams 1350 billet yolk.
The arms shocks(QA1) and springs are a Dick Miller kit.
The stock tank is sumped.
The front suspension is totally detailed stock disk components.
The body work is complete including new GM 71-72 fenders. The color is Cranberry red which has the base coat applied and is ready for sripes and clear. The dash and firewall have been painted the correct flat black.
The hood on the car is a Year One all fiberglass unit that is painted the 1991 color of the car as I was not sure I was going to use it.
The amount of time and money in this car is stupid and the cost to duplicate would easily be aproaching 20K.
