1970 442 Sport Coupe (34477/Post) << price reduced >>

1970 Oldsmobile 442 Sport (34477/Post) << price reduced! >>.
Original, NUMBERS MATCHING, 105k (99k original, 6k me). 4th owner history as of 1989. Ran great when I drove into garage for storage and hasn't run much since.

Stock 455ci Big Block, 'E' heads, intake, A/C (have compressor/hoses/brackets, but not mounted), 4-core radiator, A/T, etc.

Black interior, bucket seats, center console, clock.

Solid and straight body, including floor/trunk pans and trunk lid. Has typical characteristic rust. Galleon gold poly with black stripes on sides, hood and trunk.

Also have chassis/service/owners manuals, part information data, title. Overall, easy to make a driver or do an excellent restoration project. You decide.

Lots of other pics and details available. $10,500. Motivated to sell....

Nice

Looks like a decent starting point for a refresh. Where is the car located? Can you post more/detail pics?

I agree with great refresh point. Everything is straight, solid, clean with no waves. It ran fine when I was driving it around.

Car is in Connecticut. More pictures have been added.

Update.

>> The car has been sold. <<
The new owner is an avid Oldsmobile fan and has already been working on it.

After getting car, it was looked over and the engine properly prepped for starting after its long slumber. Other than obvious fluid replacement plus battery, starter and spark plug issues, it runs and sounds great using original/existing drive line parts.

I appreciated everyone's comments and interest by this forum. It was a good place to give the 442 Sport some exposure.

Sale

Congrats on the sale! Maybe we'll see it's refresh/restore progress here on C.O., that would be neat.

It would have headed home if you did. I picked it up in Norfolk, VA....

I'll ask new owner to post as it's looking and sounding better than ever...

Hey boys I'll send an update of pics of the car with current tires and items updated or replaced. The restore will be over winter so ya gotta wait. Sorry.
