1970 442 - Gold 4 Speed

I've seen this car before. Can't remember where??

I remember the crooked stripes. How could they screw up the stripes so badly? Can't even get them straight.

This is likely from a lack of focus when placing them. The ones forward and rear of the wheels should have a slight upward slant (making them parallel with the side marker lights and panel break line). The forward ones also taper.

With that much going on, layout isn't a 5-minute job. It needs to be mindful. Obviously, not everyone is up to that task.

Also on this car... the passenger side stripes are about a half-inch higher than the driver side with inconsistent height between wheels. The hood stripes are blobbed on.

To your point: yes, this car is a memorable candidate for the worst stripe placement award.

My first response was laughter.
