In some ways yes it does, due to it originality it did not come with it so it is like adding accessories to the car. Kills the stockness to it,etc. But on the other hand, if you owned the car and want to put A/C in it wouldnt it make it worth more to you and from that point why would you care what it is worth if you dont plan on getting rid of it?

Stefano, I do love this car and if i didnt have too many cars to worry about/a rare 69 already i would be on this like fly on manure . It would look amazing next to my 1 of 160 Rallye 350 post car. Good luck with the sale, especially in this economy. Definitely keep us posted though

But to also be honest, if i owned it that white interior might accidentally get changed to a black interior

It's going to a great home, out West. A long time Oldsmobile enthusiast and collector.

Multiple W-Machines in his collection and he had been looking for the right, documented '69 W-31.

One of the best aspects of what we do is the people that we get to meet.

Congratulations on the sale! There was a lot of car there and the buyer got a "for real" documented "W-31" that he/she can run the wheels off, or take it to Level One or Thorntons and have a show car when finished.

Typically that info is private and between the buyer and the seller.

The car was sold on the eBay auction.

Still wanted, documented, complete W-31, 4 speeds, for less than the asking price of this one. But seriously, will pay more the THE right W-31.

Ya know, the best intentions to sell to a "worthy" buyer go by the wayside when the cash is on the table.
and who's to judge others, lest ye..........ah you get it.

I trust that the Buyer of our former W-31 won't mind that I post some pics of his wonderful W-Machine Collection.

Here is an incredible, documented and un-restored W-30 with factory W-27.

I believe this was one of his first W-Machines, but I'll let him tell his story, if he chooses to participate.

Here is another one of his W-Machines. He took me up on my invitation to MCACN and showed it in the W-Machine display.

This Rally Red, White Stripe, White interior W-30 is stunning to say the least and has been chosen as a finalist for Muscle Machine of the year.

You cannot put a value on the friendships we make in the course of our business.

X3 Id drop that amount too if I had it. This looks like the one that went up for auction out of an Ohio estate a few years ago?

Plans for the 69? I drive the 69 w-31 as often as I can, rain or shine. I don't plan a full restoration because it's such a good driver. I will do some "rolling" restoration on rusty panels and frame rails etc. and eventually a full paint job

Awsome W cars Larry, that 69 is one of the most original 69 W-31's i have seen.

Your Green W-30, thats a special order Toronado color correct? below 20,000 mile car that used to be owned by a gentleman that owned a radiator company or somthing similar? if it is i remember seeing this spectacular car for sale on E-bay years ago........????

Thanks for the compliment.
I think thats why I enjoy driving the 69 so much. It's original and thats how it must have felt to drive one of these "back in the day"

The green 70 w-30 is a slight variation of the original sherwood green. We painted that car back about 1990 when base/coat clear/coat was just becoming popular and you just had to pick a close shade from the sample book. This green car was purchased new by my uncle in 1970 from Empire Olds in Denver just for the purpose of drag racing. He ran SS/J back in the 70s. He sold the car to a friend of mine in mid 80s and I was able to buy it from him in the early 90s. So it is not the one you remember from e-bay
