1969 Oldsmobile Delta 88 4-door Hardtop
NOT MY CAR: posting for the betterment of the Oldsmobile community.
1969 Oldsmobile Delta 88 4-door hardtop. 455cid/auto/factory AC car. Odometer reads 43k miles. I've seen this car in person and it is an unrestored, low mileage car: it still has all 4 "T-3" headlamps. The body is rust free other than a few minor scabs forming on the right front fender lower. Brown/green colored paint with gold/green interior. Runs and drives, but needs brakes, tires and fresh fluids to be road worthy.
Currently located at U-Pull & Save Auto Parts in Pontiac, Michigan. (248) 618-5000. They are asking $3995 OBO or it. Someone save this classic Olds! I don't have space or time for it!

That will be their excuse to part it out and make more money off it. No one will want to pay their extremely high price, so they "won't have any choice but to take it apart." I understand this is a salvage place and that's their main operation.
There's a guy on this very site that parts out otherwise decent cars and first offers them for huge money. When no one bites he makes it out to sound like everyone else is the bad guy and he's the victim. All along his plan is to part the car.
I wonder how a nice car like that Delta ended up in the junkyard. Did the junkyard buy it, someone sold it for a few dollars to them, someone died and the family just wanted to get rid of the old car in the garage? Shame.

After looking at the car, it appears to have sat in a garage for a LONG time. The RF tire tread has separated from the tire carcass. My guess is that that someone died or went into a retirement home and the family called the junkyard to have "their old car" towed way. It needs brakes, tires and fresh fluids at a minimum to be roadworthy. Personally, I would do a full tune-up, fuel system flush, and replace all belts & hoses as well.
