1969 Olds Cutlass S Holiday Coupe 2dr hardtop
1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Holiday Coupe (2dr Hardtop), 80k orig miles, came stock with an Olds rocket 350. I just had the engine and trans rebuilt and refreshed. see specs below.
Original Rocket 350 with TH350 Trans, less then 1k miles, All engine work performed by Stan @ Rocky Mountain Machine in CoSprings.
-Balanced rotating assembly
-bored .030
-Polished rods and mains 0.010
-Moly rings
-Comp Cams guideplates
-Comp Cams Hi-energy pushrods
-Valves, Edelbrock springs, guides, and seals all new
-Heads milled .006
-ARP Head bolts
-Cloyes Double Roller timing set
-Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam 7112
-Edelbrock Perfromer RPM Intake 7111
-Edelbrock 1406
-Scorpion Roller Rockers
-FlowTech Ceramic Coated longtube Headers
-HEI distributor
-Transgo shift improver kit
New 2.5" exhaust through Summit chambered mufflers, exit behind rear wheels.
Wheels are Chrome reverse 14x7s with newer tires. Body is pretty straight. There is some rust in the rear quarters. Dash is excellent, only one small crack that can barely be seen, front seat needs recovered, headrests need recovered, back seat decent. Needs headliner, and carpet. Door panels are good, drivers arm rest needs recovered.
I keep going back and fourth on whether I really want to keep it or lose it. I guess one could say I have my good days and my bad.
Problem is this is not my only project. Like my kids (4), there are other projects that need my attention. Therefore I don't need to keep dumping money into this one. I need to finish the ones I started WAY before even getting this car in the first place. Concentrate on one project at a time, then move on to the next.
Car is in Colorado Springs, CO if anyone needs shipping info.
Asking $5k /offer. Thanks.

According to Year One, there were only 569 Olds Cutlass S Holiday Coupes made in '69
http://www.yearone.com/updatedsingle...sprodnums.html
569 W31 Holiday Coupes. 66,495 S Holiday Coupes were built. (2 door). You don't say that you have a W31.

Forgive my ignorance of the subject as this is the first olds I have ever owned.
However, according to Fusick here....
http://www.fusick.com/w31.htm
They say this about the w-31 option in 1969 seen below.
Fusick says this car would have the raised blocks on the hood, I have. They also say this car would have manual brakes only, I have. It also says it would have plastic fender wells with holes for the snorkel and front and rear stabilizer bars, these I also have on my car.
Although I don't have the dual snorkel air cleaner (I imagine someone robbed them off the car before I got it) and I have #7 heads (Ive heard these come from 1970 - 72 69cc chambered with 2.00/1.62 valves and are better then the #5's) the vin number starts with the 3687 that fusick also references there were only 569 made in 1969.
So by comparing these two online sources that say there were only 569 1969 Cutlass S holiday Coupes with the options this car has on it leads me to believe there were only 569 of this car made in 1969.
Now, whether its W-30. w-31. or tomato, I don't know. I've read that to be the true w-31 I would need the #5 heads and the dual snorkel air filter with the scoops.
Take it for what its worth.

My source is the Std Catalog of Oldsmobile for production numbers. All 68-69 350 engines have the #5 heads. manual brakes were standard on the F85, power were optional. You are looking at Fusick for '69 holiday coupe production W31's. All Cutlasses had plastic inner fenders on the front. The rearstabilizer (part of option FE2) was optional on Cutlass's and was optional on the W31. 3687 for the Vin is what identifies ALL '69 Cutlass Holiday Coupes, (2dr) not just the W31. A W31/W30/W32 cannot be identified by the VIN, paperwork is necessary. Now if you have the extra thick harmonic balancer, and holes in the fender liners for the O.A.I. then those would be clues that you might have a W31, but paperwork is the only definitive way to know for sure.

Thanks for the info.
FWIW, this 350 has #7 heads, milled .006 with new valves, guides, springs, and retainers. IM sure there has been things taken from this car as it had been painted and there was a definite non-stock cam with double roller timing chain in it. It had busted rings and other issues, as the harmonic balance had to be replace during the rebuild as well.
