1969 442 4speed

We are trying to downsize from 3 cars to 2. Listing our 1969 442, 400, 4 speed, numbers matching car. Recent paint and we got the seats done, new carpet and headliner. Still needs package tray done and dash does have recent cracking. Under what is believed to be 85,000 miles.

this car isn’t perfect, but not many things that are 50 years old are!! It is a blast to drive and just needs a few more things to finish.

We are not desperate to sell, just looking for an honest price. We are asking $34,000 OR BEST OFFER. We are located in Littleton (denver) CO.

thank you for looking!

Sharp ride! GLWS. It's a shame, though, that the Olds is leaving the fold! It looks so nice next to those two Pontiacs!!

I don’t have a physical picture of the VIN on my phone and car is in storage. From what I know it is all original/matching. I love classic cars, however I am not mechanical at all. When I bought several years ago the guy did show me the number on the block and the vin match. Hopefully that is somewhat helpful....if not I’m very sorry.

Dam nice line-up! 3 of my favs, GTO GSX 442...stump pullers...all that's needed is a 427 vert SS Impala (68 or 9 stick with T83s) and a 427 vette with road pipes to complete.

Interesting. The car invoice has A82 Dual Head Restraints listed for $16.85, though it was thought head restraints were standard on all 1969 vehicles. Unless the USDOT did not require them until January 1st, 1969 - not unlike the 1972 3-point seat belts & warning device that were installed starting on January 1st, 1972.

I did not notice the optional W-42 hood paint stripes on the invoice. Did the 442 originally have the standard hood pin striping?

Mystery solved. In the 1969 Dealer SPEC Booklet the A82 'Dual Head Restraints' option is noted as "MANDATORY".
