I can feel your anger. It gives you focus, makes you stronger.
Now, trade that 68 for a 70 4 speed, and feel the power of a fully operational 455 ... it is your destiny !!!

Beautiful car, for sure, Dean. Questions (just curious)
1. What is the build date?
2. Do you believe the 251 carb to be original to the car? Any other numbers/letters off the 251 you could give me?
3. 3-spd manual, I presume? If so, there were 148 made just for the record.
4. Please let me know if they don't take the 3-spd (and I presume shifter?)
5. FWIW, the 442 fender emblems would need to be moved too if the stripe is put in the correct location.
6. Console was not really a delete, it was a option that was was not included.
7. Can you take some closeup pics of the trim ring?
8. No POP, I presume?

Once again, it looks great!

251 is beyond repair
yes originally 3 speed
yes towards the door
sure far as trim rings
when interior was done over there were fragments of a blue paper which had some writing on it in the passenger seat.

I like your car, very nice. Is is common for cars in Connecticut to be in that good of shape? I thought east coast states were known for rust? Either way you have a sweet ride!

ty for that, no it is not common - before resto it had some rust in bottom of fenders that just required patches. Generally speaking if they have not been restored they are usually pretty rotted.
