I have a 68 442 hardtop that was sitting in a shed/barn in east Tn on blocks for about 19 years,needs restored,nice black bucket seats,rechromed rear bumper with cutouts(not a reproduction),nos 68 442 grill,and a rare 68 floorsfift tilt column,automatic console and 4 piston disc brakes,308 12 bolt rearend with boxed control arms and sway bars,power antenna,1/2 a rally pac,good floors except drivers pan could use some work,

 

Sounds like a sweet find to me. Will it run?

i was going to look at this car on the way home from Alabama last weekend but we got into a huge traffic jamb on I-65. after that we decided to just get home. now i wish i would have took the time to look.

I know it is confusing at first because the site shows you "relevant" topics at the bottom of the page... but you need to look closelier and find that tiny DATE text before adding to and therefore reviving a three year old thread. It's like responding to the ad for the $1500 '69 Hurst Olds that you saw in the 1976 Hemmings that you found in the basement. Chances are, that phone got disconnected years ago....
