1968 442 for Auction

Life changes have caused me to put my car up for auction. It's a bittersweet time for me. This is a real 442. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please forward this on for me.

Thank You, and thanks to everyone on here that has been so awesome to me over the years.

-Logan

Interesting that the body tag says 12E and the body # is 233435

Even if they started at 100001, that's 133,000 bodies in 4 months or so. 1000 a day.

PS the ad says Sport Coupe but the photos show a Holiday Coupe.

Looks great! GLWTS

Pretty rare to have a forged crank in a long stroke motor too.

The cowl tag agrees with this. The "87" in 33687 indicates Holiday Coupe. A Sports Coupe would be 33677.

Of course, the lack of a B pillar would indicate this as well!

A minor ad snafu
ya know I have until today NEVER been able to remember which is which, 77 vs 87, which is a post and which a Holiday?

HAH, I finally got it!!!

The 7's look just like TWO B PILLARS [posts]

Since I am picking nits, the ad also says last year of the vent windows. That is true only for Holiday bodies. :-)

Fix them 2 slight oversights, and it'll be perfect.

This may be the last 1968 442 in captivity without W-36 stripes!

says original 400 engine with A/C alt brkts on a non A/C car.
Still a nice car that use to have been white.
A very nice car for the current bid.

Might be THREE w/o W36. Don Ganshaw's 68 ragtop never had them either. And all three have been RED! Logan's, Morland's and Ganshaw's...

Mid Atlantic Chapter skinny says Ganshaw's kid might bring theirs to Kingsport.
