Sharp car !! I hear you on the car shows. Out here in Iowa there are loads of them every week all over. Rick's List online has a good list of weekly car shows, where, what time.
Some are full of old cars, other smaller town shows have a mix of old cars, dirt track guys bringing in their weekend car, motorcycles, beaner cars, to the Mr Big Buck bringing in new mustangs, camarros, corvettes... to even antique tractors.
I try to go to the cruise ins with a nostalgic deal to it say to A&W's or old towns with the drive up burger joints. I put more miles just going out for a drive to enjoy the day, grab a ice cream treat with the finance, or to visit family, the odd beer run...
Sometimes it doesn't seem worth what I put into the car for what I do. But that fades quick when I hop in and go somewhere.
This weekend is "The Good Guys" in des moines at the fair grounds. I am either a cheap ***, but spending $30 a ticket, plus parking is a bit rich. That is before gas and burger. Plus my 76 can't park inside.... Cutoff is 72

Jeff,
I passed on your info to a guy that's local to me that was selling that red 68 I posted a month or so ago. He was in contact with someone from Long Island that is looking for a 68. Unfortunately his first choice is Willow Gold or Jade Gold.
Good luck,

Nice car and looks as if it was well done too. My wife and I bought a new 68 back in the day. We traded in our 66 442 for it. We were always sorry we dumped both cars but that was eons ago. About 4 years ago I had the bright idea to try to find our 1st new car the 66 , it was not going to happen. So I located a exact duplicate of it on line and bought it and like all cars when we buy them " it had to be redone. Well after 4 years and a shopping bag of receipts , we have our replacement 1st car and will enjoy it for as long as we can with or without car shows as was stated the money guys with there new vettes and mustangs showing up. It took 51 years but my wife is thrilled.
