IIRC, the car is an original black/red interior'd W-30, but is supposed to have a white vinyl top.

These are reproduced in black plastic as well and would be great instead of the factory metal ones that get dented and rotted. (yes I know the factory installed black plastic ones in a limited quanity in 67) This is why I asked about the fit...

I believe plastic did shave a little weight and the red ones were a warning signal and made the W cars look all the meaner! I think late 67 was the start of them and 68 up were mostly all plastic either black or red for the W cars till 1972.

The fitment was definitely a challenge, but i managed to get it done. The worst was the alinement at the bottom corner at rear of fender.

Wayne -- I havent used it yet. Its sitting on an engine cradle awaiting installation in the Ramrod after the restoration is finished.
I've decided to pull the pan and heads and check it all out. He couldnt tell me the deck height or the cc's -- so i will start there.
