1967 Olds Toronado

67 Toro, 425 motor, about 385 hp. 400 trans , front wheel drive , it was in storage for about 18 years , I bought it for $ 2500, and re built or replaced everything that had any rubber, or seals in it , ; like water pump, valve cover gskts, frost plugs , valve seals, , new carb, drive axles, brakes, including master cyl and booster, new tire ( 255's ) , some wiring and a lot of vacumn hoses , and rad hoses, new exhaust system including mufflers, everything works in this car, including the AC, and flip up head light doors, the paint job is over 20 years old and getting faded, very, very little surface rust starting. Runs really great ! Lots of fun to drive ! Very few of these left in this ''original'' condition ! Need to sell this , as I don't really get to drive it ( has about 70,000 miles on it ) , and plan on moving to another state this summer, and selling this before I go , would be one less thing I need take. I have a bout $6500 invested in it and would sell it for about $6000..PS, it goes thru a lot ALOT of snow !!!! local southern Knsas car and has never been in any SALT !

I am still here in Kansas,,in the process of moving to Texas, will be here for couple months at least. The car is here, at Cherryvale, Ks., which is about an hours drive North of Tulsa ok., about 20 miles across the border into Kansas. or about 1 1/2 hours drive west from Joplin Mo., or about 2 hrs East of Wichitia Ks.

Reply ......""there is a large hotrodding community in sweden, we sell a lot there.
bank transfer is the safest way to go. our shop will only do bank transfers overseas. we quit doing charge cards.I would talk to your bank about it too.I'd have the buyer handle all transactions and shipping.
I would also offer to make it as smooth as possible by assisting his broker offer to make it as smooth as possible by assisting his broker ""...this is a reply I got from another site, I guess it's up to you to find a broker

this is a reply I got from another forum, a guy I,ve delt with before, lives in Finland, this is what he says ..........Well, the broker/forwarders I have worked with are located in Houston, TX; Lamar, SC (ships from Charleston); Okeechobee FL (ships from Miami). The one in Houston, Hal-Mari, is a company who operates also to Sweden. I'll give a call to my contact if you consider using them. I can recommend them warmly: reliable and fair price.
http://www.halmari.com/?page_id=9

There are plenty of finns and swedes who operate as forwarding agents to "old countries".

I also have heard of a broker in FL that mainly exports to Sweden - never done any business with them, though.

well, either one of you could drive it home. it's about 650 or 700 miles to Wis,,,,,,,,but, the gas bill would be kinda high.......650 miles , 10 (?) mph=65 gal @ $3.55 is $230, if the milage was only about 7 is would still only be little over $300..........still cheaper than hiring a truck to haul it ......
