1967 Cutlass Supreme with 455
I am putting my 67 Cutlass Supreme up for sale. I actually originally bought it from a awesome CO member a few years back. I have done a tremendous amount of work to get it into its current condition. If you want to see everything I have done check out my build thread (see link below). Below is a quick rundown on what I have done:
- Frame blasted and painted
- Floors patched
- Trunk completely replaced
- Inner wheel wells patched
- New fuel tank
- All Fuel and Brake lines replaced with stainless steel lines from ILT
- Body bushings replaced with new rubber ones
- All steering and suspension bushings replaced with poly bushings (properly greased so no squeaks)
- Installed a heat and sound deadener under carpet
- All new Auto Meter Tac and aux gauges
- Installed a factory console with floor shifter (originally a column **** car)
- Installed a floor shift steering column (still have original if it is wanted)
- Converted the steering box to a 96 Jeep
- Replaced the original 330 with a 455 that has been worked (see below)
- TCI Street Fighter TH400 Trans installed
- New Aluminum radiator
- Stainless steel transmission cooler lines installed
- Hooker ceramic coated headers installed
- 2.5" Flowmaster pipes all the way back plus H pipe
- Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers installed
- 780 HRSeries Quickfuel carb installed
- Mondello Pro-Max aluminum heads
- Mondello 14.5 cc dish aluminum pistons
- Mondello JM 22-25 installed
- Aluminum roller rockers installed
- Hydraulic lifters installed
- Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold installed
- MSD Ready to Run distributor with MSD wires installed
This car runs and drives amazing, it is a torq monster for sure! It gets a lot of attention when I am out and about. The only reason I am looking to sell the car is because I am bored with it because all of the real work is done. I actually prefer to be turning wrenches on it than drive it so Id like to afford someone else with the luxury to enjoy this true beauty. The car is a great Sunday driver or heading to the car show Friday night in its current condition. In an effort to fully disclose all information I think the next person will want to repaint it as a previous owner had it repainted and its not the best of work. There is a dent above the rear passenger tire that I believe a paintless (Dent Wizard) tech could deal with.
I am not looking for a trade or another project as I already have my sights set on something else. This is a turn key car and the price is set at $16,500 or reasonable offer. The car is located in Ft. Myers Florida and has been garaged kept since I have had it. Send me a message with your phone number if you are interested.
