1967 442 4 speed - western car
Post car, non a/c. No title or tags. I had the local Olds club 442 technical advisor come and look at it. He confirmed it is a 442 but not a W30 car. No motor or tranny. Low rust car from Wyo. Excellent race car or donor.
Exterior - No rust found in qtrs or fenders. 442 badging and trim on it. Battery tray and inner fenders excellent. Mint core support. Excellent frame. Found the date (4 5 67) and part # (395402) with a wire brush. Some rust in the curve part of the louvered hood but not in the lip. I think it was off the car and then sat for years and water got in it and sat - weird. All side trim is on the car but one little piece (pass between front bmpr and wheel well). Front bumper is there but grill and some moldings missing. Headlights and blinker is there. Stainless trim that goes above the headlights and bottom of the hood is there. Rear bumper gone. Rear tailights and long trunk emblem that says "Oldsmobile" is there. Trunk lid is rust free but dented up.
Interior - cracked up dash pad with dash bezel/gauges and a tach in it, steering wheel and column, 4 speed pedals, rear panels (below the qtr window) with arm rests. Couple pin holes in floor so I say replace a couple floor sections.
So the rust that I could see was in the floors on the drivers side (2 spots) and on the hood.
Price is firm at $2500. Or $2200 without the hood. I got a buyer for the hood.
Email me at layneotteson@yahoo.com if you are interested or have any questions.
I am looking to move the car immediately or will begin parting it out next weekend.
hanks all.
