I am not looking to buy the car discused. I have a color combo taste question. That car looks like it has a color called Target Red, 1966 code (R). Black interior and a white top. All other things aside what do you folks think of the color combo, Red body, black interior and white top.
Question is that my 66 Cutlass vert was born and is painted Target Red, born and has a black bucket interior, born with a white top, but has a Black vert top because the previous owner didn't like that color combo of a white top. Sure would like to get some serious opinions please. My current car pictured.
The one biggest advantage to a black convertible top is keeping it looking clean. White tops even well taken care of will start to look dingy after awhile

35tac I had a 66 f85 coupe white on red with a black interior and loved that combo. When I got the 65 vert I seriously considered replacing the black top with a white one, but after living with it for a few years i have grown to like that combo.
The car for sale here definitely qualifies as lipstick on a pig! Makes you wonder what other crap is hiding underneath.
