1965. Oldsmobile Jetstar I 4-speed FS in Poconos region (PA)

https://mindovermotor.com/2014/01/23...car-show-2013/

Here’s a story on the car from a few years ago. I’ve had it just shy of 15 years. I’m asking $18k and price is gonna be pretty firm. Plenty wrong with it and plenty right with it. Like most of these old cars. But I’m not going to get into all that on an open forum. What I will say here is it’s a factory 4-speed, trans is date-code correct to the car and cowl tag has the “2L” for 4 speed, but the motor is a 1967 425 with C heads, a ‘65 squarebore intake and correct Rochester 4-jet. The special 15” rims (Y75 option IIRC) which accept Toronado center caps are also from ‘67, as are the 425 emblems on the rear quarters (installed with double-sided tape so people will stop asking what engine it has (didn’t work)). Car is also equipped with an exceedingly rare rear sway-bar, a police-specific item that came from a CHP car.

Buy it and you will have the only car like it on your street.

Interested parties can PM me and I’ll be happy to give more details.

17K now.

Can't promise it won't spin a rod bearing a month after you buy it, though....

Ailensatemybuick has had no activity on this site since January 2020 .
I think it is a safe bet that he has sold this car and has moved on from the Oldsmobile world .

Oh there you are! Are you having a good time with the JetStar 1. I have looking around for one of those or as my wife prefers a 65 Starfire convertible.
