1965 Cutlass Project
So after acquiring 4 '65s since September I have no space to keep all of them so my Royal Mist blue coupe has to find a new home. I drove the car into my garage, but now it is completely disassembled with the body ready to come off the frame. EVERYTHING has been photographed, bagged, tagged and boxed. The car is a buckets/console automatic car and has a '65 425 in it.
The car will need a complete resto. Off the top of my head, the car will need floors, 1/2 trunk pan, pass. fender, probably a trunk lid. Having said that, the car is complete. The front clip has been blasted as well as the trunk lid. A few powder coated and painted partsas well. I am asking $1800.00 for it. The pictures below are of the car prior to dis-assembly.
I have loads of pictures so if there is something specific you want to see, just ask.
Thanks,
Ron

Hey Napoleon,
Do you want the remnants of my 65 4 door sedan front doors? They each have a rust hole about the size of a silver dollar in the rear bottom corner, but they're straight. I've removed some of the parts, door latches, handles, chrome strips, some window frame chrome and such. Still have regulators and all the glass in them. If you want them for free you can have them, otherwise, it's off to metal recycling !!
Honest Dave ( honestly).

free doors
It's hard to say no to free stuff. If anything I can practice welding \ priming \ sanding on them. Thanks bruddah. Bring them over to the shop when you swing by this weekend.....

Are you talking quarters or tail light area? Both are decent. Between the tail lights looks like new, almost, and the quarters are almost rust free. I sold the tail panel and the rear lights are out. Took the bumper off today. I wish the car I'm fixing up was half this good !!
I can put pics up tomorrow if you want to see.

It's unclear at this time how I'm going to do it. I'll try to let you know when the time comes. Don't know if I can sell a whole quarter. I need the trunk floor pan and possibly the trunk latch post that is welded to the tail pan. Tricky trying to figure out how to get what I want without damaging anything someone else might want. Where to put the cuts so the welds can be hidden? Maybe cutting through the center of the tail lights.
This picture was taken before I took the tail lights, gas tank and bumper off, but it gives you an idea of the shape.

Im glad to hear you have a good trunk pan and decent quarters...Im in no rush...have had the car for ten years now and can fix the tail panel at any time. (its only noticeable when you look close)
I probably need to replace the panel as a full assembly (break loose at the welds ) to keep the strength/integrity of the panel so if at some time this is possible let me me know. Its a PITA to do it that way but Im willing to pay accordingly. Might be interested in the right quarter if its solid. You can never have enough spare parts tucked away.

Do you need the trunk latch post, or is yours ok? I'm hoping to keep it if I can. Knock it off at the upper welds. I'll look closely at it over the next few days. It would be only fitting if you could end up with a piece of this, after such a bad experience with Gino.

Oi! Scotty! Keep buying up those parts from Dave. The sooner that car is gone the sooner Dave's gonna buy my coupe! Buy BIG parts - BIIIG parts! BTW Dave - keep that decklid you'll need it...

Hey Napoleon,
I'm going to junk that front seat soon. Did you check CL to see if you need it? Hate to throw it out if it's needed. Still has good springs and foam, I think. Needs recovering. Don't know how the one in your Vista Cruiser is. I can take it to the scrap metal bin about six blocks from here, so no big thing if you don't require it.

Hmmm,
Porch rocker. No! .... must resist.....Trying not to be a hoarder. The VC seat is decent, the flat top one is even better. I even picked up a split folding bench. You had might as well send it to car parts heaven...
