My oh my, that car presents very well, just wondering about undercarriage rust since it is an east coast car. It doesn't look to bad from the two photos but one can never tell without an personal inspection. Nice car.

I wondered same on paint code. “R” in 1964 is Cashmere Beige.

It's a little chilly . . .

Could you please turn up the heat?

At that price, I wouldn't be surprised if you had to re & re the heater core. Probably needs a few other odds and ends too.

This car was for sale on Barn Find. I believe bids up to 15 with a 25 reserve. I also saw a car if I recall correctly on this site in 2020 very similar but not from PA.

Good luck. I agree, $25K reserve would be a little crazy. Last time I looked (when I pinged you) best bid was $10K so I thought it might be buyable @ 15 or so. I don't think they'll get 25.

Hope you're feeling better.

Feel better.

We don't know what reserve is on this current auction. Believe me if that car has a 15 price tag I would highly consider it. I hate auctions.

Not a bargain, but plausible.

I offered more than the BaT price when the car was still in Canada. Had a fellow member eyeball it for me and must have had 50 pictures. At the time, the heater core wasn’t unhooked, and honestly, the car was presented better than it was on the auction site. It was sold to a U.S. buyer and I contacted that fellow, but he wanted a huge number and I quickly lost interest. Another key factor was the mileage…it was represented as 26,000 documented miles when I tried to buy it; had it been TMU (true miles unknown) as the BaT listing, I wouldn’t have been anywhere near my offer.

This Buick 3-on-the-tree wagon is pretty sweet, too. Plastic on the seats just like grandma's house! 1961 Buick Special Station Wagon 3-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - ending August 4 (Lot #157,108) | Bring a Trailer

At one time I owned 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-speed cars. The 3- was a 3-on-the-tree 6-cylinder F-85 4-door. Before I sold it, I had my son drive it, just so he could say he did. I still have six of the 4, 5, and 6'ers.
