1962 Starfire convertible
Not mine, but I received an email from the fellow selling it asking for help in giving it as much exposure as possible, so here's the link. Nice looking car. I don't know what the reserve price is, but given the wear on the seats and the top of the dash, I wouldn't put its condition at any more than about 3, maybe 2.5. The Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of a #3 condition 1962 Starfire convertible at just under $16,000 and in #2 condition at $24,500. As I write this, the current bid is about $8,600, so there could be some ways to go before the reserve is reached. Or not. Who knows?

Like a lot of auto sellers on ebay, he's apparently willing to end the auction and sell it outside of ebay if a deal can be reached. The contact person is Kurt Allgauer, and his email address is kurt@pdqgift.com.
As the auction listing says, the car is located 1.5 hours west of Chicago.
