1957 Ninety Eight 4 Door Sedan

I have found this car complete but the floors are rusted out and the trunk pan is rusty. It has all the chrome trim in place and in good shape. The guy said to make an offer. I don't think it's restorable but has many good parts. What should I offer him for it?

The speedometer is in excellent shape!

Would you have the fan shroud :the sparkplug wire loom/ brackets : and the radio antenna fender mount and cable, for the 57 Olds. Thanks John

Does it have any options==PS, PW, PS, PB? If yes maybe $500 to $750 max if you want to part it out. If it is a straight plain Jane 4 DR the something less. After you remove the parts, the chassis/body is worth maybe a couple of hundred for scrap. In Indiana you have to have a title to scrap it. A lot of work! I have found that sheet metal and trim is not worth much from a 4 DR. Instrument panel componets are good. Bumpers if solid and not bent up are 100 plus but people don't want to pay to have them shipped as they are heavy. Engine if it is not frozen maybe $250-300. Just depends what you want to do with it and how much effort you want to put in it. Just my two cents.
