That's a purty thang! Hope it finds a good home and hope the friend's wife gets thru her illness.

Just occurred to me- 56 Fiesta caps were often stolen. Reckon the new-for-57 wheelcover attaching clips were a response to that? Knowing that the fancy Olds spinners wouldn't easily mount to a normal wheel might have discouraged theft.

I may be wrong but I think the Fiesta caps were used on 54 and 55's after being introduced on the 53 Fiesta. I think these are Starfire Spinners which is what a 56 should have on it.

This really is a pretty car.

I've always called all 53-59 Olds spinner caps Fiestas, but I guess technically 53 Fiesta and 54-55 88-98 are the real Fiesta caps.

Hialeah, that listing still shows removed. Did the car sell?
