Anybody heard from Mike Siedlik (Mikes442)? Has not delivered parts.

I bought parts through Mike's webstore on 9/29 and received an order confirmation email (probably automated). I haven't heard anything since then, haven't received the parts, and he hasn't replied to the emails and voice messages I've left at the phone number listed on his website.

Has anybody else heard from him recently or bought anything? I really don't want to have to file a Paypal dispute to get my money back... and I kind of need/want the parts...

Luke, have you sent him a Private Message via. our site? Looking at his user profile I see that he was active on the site yesterday. Hopefully it's just a mail delay or something innocent that has prevented you from getting your parts.

i know Mike very well and he has had some health issues that has slowed him down a bit. This past Olds Nats was the first he has missed in a long time because of it. This isn't an excuse for him, just wanted you to know what might be the problem.

I sent Mike a PM on this site at 9:37 AM yesterday... he was logged into the site at 11:42 AM yesterday morning. No PM, email or phone call back, not even a 'hey, things are really bad, I'll get with you soon.' I have patience and give people the benefit of the doubt, but at this point he has to be intentionally ignoring me.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to file a Paypal claim and issue a "buyer beware" on goodoldsdays / mikes442 / Mike Siedlik. Makes me sick, as I've dealt with a lot of people in the Olds community and never had an issue like this.

Luke, I sent a PM to Mikes442 asking him to respond to your request for an update on the parts you ordered. Hopefully he replies soon.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. A formal request was filed through Paypal for goods not received this morning, but Paypal gives the seller three weeks to respond before the next step.

Figured I would update this for closure. Unfortunately, this had to go all the way through the Paypal dispute process, with no response from Mike. At least I'm getting my money back, but it gets him two thumbs down in my book.

That's a bummer that you never got your parts. At least you will get your money back. Thanks for the update.

I am a little surprised by Mike's inaction and hope he is okay from a health standpoint... But, business is business and some sort of communication should have been provided to close the deal one way or another on Mike's behalf... Glad it's been resolved, at least to the point of getting a refund...

I've known Mike for a long time and have always had great dealings with him with no problems. I know he has had some health issues and because of them he didn't attend this past Olds Nats. I hope all is well with him and he gets back on his feet.

Mike helped me out on a shift **** for the car I had. Sent it very quickly and well packaged. I'm surprised you have a problem but hopefully he'll work it out for you.

I placed orders with Mike, totaling 431.00 on his website months ago. I have done everything to connect with Mike, but he will not respond to me. I was told by Tweed, that Mike took a long time to ship to him, and I should be patient. After reading this,, I have reached the end of my patience.
I do hope that Mike is ok, but at the same time, I don't know Mike at all and this is business. If I had some sort of communication from Mike it would help.

I haven't been able to contact him either. There must be a problem or he would respond. I'm not @ liberty to say what his medical issues are/were,so we'll just have to see how it plays out.

If you paid with Paypal or through eBay, just make sure you escalate your claim once the time for the delinquent seller to respond expires. The process took 2 months for me.

Thank you. I have sent a new reminder for the eBay part of this.
Of course, I do hope Mike is ok, but I need to know something! He is still selling on eBay.
Zero response, makes the mind go crazy with thoughts of being ripped off.

It looks like we aren't the only ones... look at the attached screenshot of his latest eBay feedback. I can't believe eBay hasn't pulled his sales ads yet.

Wow. Well that sucks. It sounds like if eBay gets involved , then he refunds your money. Most of the 431.00 I spent was paid through his website.

What happens if KJR doesn't get his cash back. Two deals gone sour = what for this site?

I'm hesitant to ban him while there are members trying to recoup their money.

Why not delete any of his forsale adds/wanted adds if he post any? Till he makes good to the member here he owes money to. Just asking and suggesting. I don't sell a lot here but when i do i am not out to take advantage of anyone. One member here offered me something and i told him i had no cash and he sent it anyway because he knew i need it. I made good on the deal when i got the cash. It took a long time. No job no cash. Big Thanks to Dave the Freak.

He does not sell parts on here through formal ads, he responds to parts wanted requests. So nothing to delete.

Considering that we know that Mike has had health problems, I think it is fair not to ban him, and for a Mod or Admin to try to reach him or someone who knows him and find out more information, so that they can make an informed decision.

KJR is out of $431. Got no parts order was placed months ago! What is a reasonable amount of time? The key here is no communication. Just saying. My deal is different was explained in detail with Dave that i had no clue when i would have the cash.He is now paid. Dave is a true Olds guy. In thirteen months my problem is over. Till then i am broke unless i sell parts. Last post on this Oldcutlass.

Well, Chris Witt still has things for sale on ebay. If Mike is in the hospital and unable to cancel his ebay sales they could just be continuing. I skimmed through and all the auctions I checked had multiple items for each sale. These could be auctions he started a long time ago. If something happened to me I know there's nobody in my circle of family and friends who could log on here and tell you all about it. Look how long it was before we found out about Pat's death.

Anybody out there know Mike well enough for a phone call? Close enough to stop by his house? That's the only way for us to know for sure what's going on.

Mike's ebay ads show him as shipping from Columbus Nebraska, so I'm guessing that's where he lives. Anyone close to there?

Mike and Barbara Siedlik are the owners of Siedlik Signs, at 2321 11th St, Columbus, NE 68601, (402) 564-8141.

I don't know for sure, but searches seem to show that there's only one Mike Siedlik in Columbus, NE.
At bare minimum, the store owner is probably a close relative.
