61-63 f85 cutlass dual reservoir master cylinder
For anyone that wants to convert to a dual reservoir master cylinder. First off a master cylinder with lines facing the engine are needed because of its close proximity to the down brace. I found that the master cylinder off a 1998 s10 had the fittings on the correct side and the bolt pattern is the same as original. Since its longer you have to notch the frame for it to fit and the pushrod between the brake pedal and master cylinder needs shortened. You will need some reducer fittings so your stock lines fit the new master cylinder and a plug for the distribution block where you remove the rear brake line. from there its just bending the stock line and rerouting them to the mastercylinder, no new line needed. I notched the lip on the frame and did the test fit on my 62 coupe project.

after that i did the actual install on my 62 wagon, havent driven it yet but i bled the brakes and brake feel is good.

Your posting is just what I've been looking for. I have a 62 convert and I've been looking for a small MC for a front disc conversion-your MC looks good-dual res and 1" bore should do the job. Looks like you just enlarged the factory notch but did not have to cut into the box section-is that right? Did you do a front disc conversion and do you have a length on the MC?
Thanks
