1967 442 brake lines

I have a question! what is the reason for two different size line's coming off of the master cylinder (3/16"&1/4") to the distribution block?

The 1/4" is for the rear, 3/16 for the front.

The different size lines started in 1967 with the dual circuit M/C, presumably to preclude incorrect installation on the assembly line.

you would think that he would have been at least an Engineer. I worked at Jeep as a Tool and Die maker for 41 years and I never picked up on that!

it is always nice to have some one around that is more knowledgeable than your self and more than likely one of the reasons I joined this site! I kind of wish I knew everything but I do not, but it is fun to learn something every day, especially working on this Oldsmobile!
