Wheel cylender

Will a 1956 Chevy or Buick front wheel cylender fit on a 56 Oldsmobile?

Possibly, but doubtful. They all used different stuff back then. I'm pretty sure all the Olds wheel cylinders were the same from the 30s up to about 1957-58 though.

My 1974 parts book doesn't list a complete wheel cylinder earlier than 1959, but does list a rebuild kit less pistons for 1937-58 front cylinders, 1-3/32" diameter bore. Try NAPA- you'd be amazed what they can still get for you.

If your wheel cylinders look like the ones on THIS PAGE then yes. If they don't then no.
