Missing: Drum brake strut spring

Hey, I am just finishing up my new brake line, master cylinder and booster job. By far, the booster was the worst part of that job, btw.

Anyhow, I have the Raybestos hardware kit for the drums in the back of my 71, as well as the adjuster kits for each side.

Between those, I am still missing one spring. It is labeled as a "strut" spring in the pic attached (#9). I talked to RockAuto and they said I've ordered ever part they have for the rear drum setup on this car. They aren't aware of a different kit or the springs separately.

Anyone know where I can get a pair of new ones? I'd even take a kit that has a new "strut" assembly or whatever, but I really just need the springs...

Thanks!

I just did my 72 drums. That spring and the 16, lever return spring, are not included in the kit. I had to reuse the old ones.

Yeah, they don't always (ever?) seem to include that one.
Never really thought about it.

Just use the old one. Otherwise, time for a trip to the junkyard!

The "strut" is used to transfer force to the front shoe when you apply the parking brake. The spring is an anti-rattle spring. Since it doesn't really wear out, it is not included in the hardware kits.

Strange - I did get the number 16 spring, but it was in the star-wheel kit, not the "main" hardware kit.

Well, I think I found it, after all:

Looks like I'll be ordering some of those tomorrow... The price is right, I guess.
