Well, y'know, those darned LeMans bolts are MUCH worse than the Cutlass bolts...
How's the access to the bolt?
My first thought is to get a BIG pair of ViseGrips on there TIGHT, then whack the handle with a heavy hammer a few times. A bolt through the frame should bust loose with enough of a solid impact - it shouldn't be as tough to remove as one rusted to a nut.
You DID use lots of KROIL, PB Blaster, or other good penetrating oil, right?

I was thinking you could edit your thread and call it a 1964 Cutlass as I think much of the chassis is the same. I'm not picturing the bolt your fighting with though, I just swapped a rear end under a 1964 Cutlass and am thinking it must be near where the rubber brake line attaches to the metal line?
I've had good luck with these gizmos. These are made by Craftsman but I've seen other brands too. They've worked at least 4 out of 5 times for me. The one exception is under the battery box where the bolt has rusted down to just a nub, that's when I'll drill it out. But back to these guys, you use a ratchet with a socket large enough to fit the back of the extractor. Tap it on a little, but as you turn the ratchet it will bite into the bolt head. Pretty slick in my opinion! Let us know how things go with your LeMans... I mean Cutlass!
