'69 442 front brake hoses
As you know, fixing one thing can lead to finding another. I recently changed my master cylinder and booster. While bleeding my front disc brakes I noticed that I needed to replace my brake hoses. A quick trip to the local NAPA store and I scored hoses that are about 2" short. Check O'Reilly's....same issue and they don't fit into the upper mount to be clipped in. Mind you, both NAPA and O'Reilly's sell stuff proudly made in China. Imagine that.
I believe my car may have came from the factory with drums all around and was converted at some time (I've owned it for 5 years). Short of dialing up OPG or Fusick.....has anyone else had this issue and what was your solution? I have a set of brake hoses from a '75 Cutlass that are the closest to working that I've found.

I looked up front disc brake hoses on RockAuto and all of the ones listed for 1969-1972 show hose lengths between 12.25" and 12.8". I crawled under my car and measured the as best I could and it is right at 14" long from end to end, including the fittings.

You're seeing the same stuff that the parts stores are selling me. I purchased a set for a '75 Cutlass and with a very small modification to the hose bracket where it mounts the frame, they are going to work. They are the correct length and even better.....they were not made in China although still from foreign origin. I'm guessing the parts store data base is selling me the hoses for drum brakes instead of disc....although the counter person entered "front disc brakes". Looking at the reproduced factory assembly manual, the drum brake lines appear shorter....for what that's worth.
