68 rear brake conversion

Thinking of converting rear drum to disk. 68 Cutlass S, but want to keep the 14in rims. Most conversion kits I've seen require 15in rims. Anyone know if there is a conversion kit for 14in rims?

To be honest the rear brake conversion is not worth the hassle other than bragging rights, I'd spend my money on something else.

Seems as if the clamping force of rear discs would surpass the ability of a 14" tire's tread to maintain traction with the road surface. So in other words, way more stopping power than the tires can handle, so in effect no net increase in braking performance. Now if you were changing to 17" or larger tires with a wider tread and better rubber compound, it may make sense.
