'68 442 Front left Brake hard line situation/question

Can anyone tell me definitively what size hard line/tube, 1/4" or 3/16", runs from the switch block to the soft line/hose at the left front frame rail? I made the mistake of misplacing parts during my dis-assembly. The tube/hard line that came off was a 1/4" tube that had a 1/4" tube - 7/16" x24 pitch fitting on it at the switch block end. I am missing the fitting that attaches to the hose/soft line at the frame rail. The hose has a 3/8" female fitting. I cannot locate a male 1/4" tube - 3/8" -24 pitch fitting to connect the hard line to the soft line. Other than employing an adapter fitting, any hints or words of wisdom?

I cannot find any online or the local NAPA, O'reilly, etc. Perhaps someone has an unusable line that still has usable fitting(s)...

The underlying reason is that I had to relocate the brake switch block when installing my headers. I am re-plumbing the entire brake system. Original - Factory OEM - hard lines won't work due to the new location of the switch block.

TIA
Rich

3/16" for the lines from the combo valve/dist block to both front wheels and 1/4" to the rear end.

Thumbs up Sanity Restored

Thanks for restoring my sanity, Joe. I was going crazy trying to figure out how/why a 1/4" line was used on that front brake.
