63 F-85 rear brake shoe lining length

63 F-85 rear brake shoe lining length
Received rear brake lining set from Kanter, and they are the right width 1 3/4"
However the length of the lining on all 4 shoes is the same as the secondary
shoes would be. Have never seen this before, and when talking to Kanter
customer rep he states that this is how these brake shoes are manufactured.
Says that this will not be a problem when in use.
Does anyone out there have an opinion on this?
