1958 brake master cylinder

Hi guys
Im hoping that someone may have some knowledge on whether there is another alternative to the original master cylinder on my 58 as im having trouble sourcing an original/repo. The genuine cylinder was missing and in its place was a pretty crudely modified cylinder fitted of which will not pass licensing inspections.
I was thinking maybe something off another GM model of the same year? Im positive the original type was a Moraine unit and hoping to keep vehicle as close to original as I can including drum brakes on the front.

Any info would be appreciated

Regards

Brad

Check with Karps Power Brake Service in Chino, California, they may have one in stock. They had a complete setup for a different car and sold us everything that was needed in ready to go condition.

It looks like all Kanter has is a master cylinder kit.

Question for the O.P.
Are these power brakes or manual brakes?
