Patch panels

I have the classic lower fender rust through problem inherent in these cars.

I need to cut out the lower fenders on both sides and have some patch panels welded in. I've noticed a number of suppliers stock them, it appears Brothers Automotive is the cheapest....

Are there better quality ones from place to place or are they generally all the same?

I ordered one a few months ago from my local auto supply store, it was such a bad fit I was better off buying some sheet metal and making my own. Just my experience . Oh ,I did return the part , it was almost $60 with tax and all. I think I'd probably spend more time fitting the part than making a panel myself.
