Emblem refinish
Emblem refinish
I have a 72 Cutlass S and I am wondering if anyone has either cleaned up themselves or sent out the trunk emblem/script for refinishing? Mine has some pitting and I'd like to get it cleaned up. With that being said if anyone has ever used the OPGI or GM Restoparts version I'd be interested in hearing your reviews in regards to their product. Thanks!

I'll leave it at that.
Professional refinishing is costly because the part is pot metal and each pit must be drilled, filled with solder, and smoothed before replating.
Fusick Automotive has an extensive line of emblems, made on their own tooling (no Chinesium parts). I have their emblems on my car and can vouch for the quality.
