Can someone tell me if a 1972 442 hood is different than a 1971 cutlass supreme or if it fit just fine? Thanks

 

I assume by "442 hood" you are really talking about the fiberglass W25 hood. Most 442s came from the factory with a metal hood. Today, every one of those now has a repro W25 hood. In any case, all 71-72 hoods interchange.

 

To add to joesanswer, 68-72 each have their own core support and grills. 71-72 core support and grils can be swapped as a set. Idk how many hoods were availible in 72 but at least 3 variants, oai, w vent, w out vent.
