Seam sealers and body plug adhesive
Seam sealers and body plug adhesive
During my disassembly Ive noticed many different types of sealers and adhesives especially while replacing quarter panels. Some stay soft, some get brittle. Body seam sealers, hunks of material jammed in corners of trunk area and wheel houses to fill gaps and voids, flexible foam under sheet metal on sail panel, brittle red sealer around cowl and a soft green adhesive sealer on body plugs. All different colors. Ive seen brushable seam sealer, caulk tubes, expanding foam cans and putty strips.
Dou you guys have recommendations on all this material, where to get the correct or similar stuff?

Here is a link to Eastwood seam sealers. I used the cartridges and they worked great. https://search.eastwood.com/search?t...=seam%20sealer
Thanks Randy
I was looking at that right before I posted and their stuff is usually pretty good as long as you know what you want. I dont see all that I'm looking for in their offerings and wondering if an autobody supply would have better or more selection?
