Looking for a shop that does quality window trim restoration for my ‘70 W-30. I will ship it. Thanks.

I've never worked with them, but you might check out Ogden Chrome. I believe they do stainless and chrome-related brightwork as a sideline to rechroming. No idea of their prices or quality.

After I retired, I spend 3 solid weeks in the garage sanding and buffing the 33 or so pieces of trim on my '66 98. Glad I did it, but I think I'd farm it out today too. It was a fun project at the time.

It's a little dangerous with a 3/4 hp buffer which fling impossible-to-replace metal far away at high speed. You have to have a good eye for scratches, dents and whatnot and some skill at tapping dents out from the reverse side. You also need to get all grits of sandpaper (and plenty of it) plus several buffing wheels which you'll want to glue together for increased buffing surface to decrease buffing time. Then you have to get all the compounds from rough/coarse to jewelers rouge which is more waxy.

I had enough skill to get where I wanted to go but not enough to get the trim really perfect.

Which window trim? Stainless or anodized aluminum?

It’s stainless I believe. The (2) pieces of rear window trim at the bottom . One piece has (3) screws, the piece has (2) screws. Looks chrome on top and brushed when you look at the sides from inside the trunk. I need them to look NOS or better.
