Replacment trunk floor suggestons

I'm looking for a trunk floor, and drop offs, for a 72 cutlass S.
I tried the ones from sherman, but it was about 4 inches short on each side, and the ribs didn't line up. Also it was super thin and the drop offs weren't even close.

Does anyone know of a good supplier?

Rust-free originals from the desert southwest. The Chinesium aftermarket panels are all Chevelle panels re-labeled as Oldsmobile parts.

I understand that would be the best way, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

I think Joe gave you the best answer! Try good mark but it maybe a Chinese as well.

Joe,

Is there a place on the forums where there is a list of yards to contact for desert parts?

Ben

Unfortunately not. Desert Valley is the one that comes to mind first. CTC Auto Ranch in TX is another.

I used a Goodmark Chevelle trunk floor and cut off the extra metal that Chevy uses. It fit and looks perfect in my 72 Cutlass. The only trunk floor drop offs that are worth anything are ones from Fusick. Mine fit like a glove.

What extra metal did you cut off?
I need to replace all the way up to where the trunk floor meets the seam at the rear bumper area, and figured I would either be fabbing a panel to go from the replacement trunk pans, or trying to find a good used one

Ordered the drop off's from fusic. They look really good.

Chevelle trunk floors have a vertical "extension" that's not needed for Oldsmobiles in the trunk latch area.

I cut across the end just above where the indent is for the gas tank filler neck.

One caveat here is that since this is a complete trunk pan it must be installed from the underside. (Body off frame).

If you use Faceb**k, look up 68-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 parts. I've bought parts from him with success recently. And he ships too. Good luck.

You can try Hess Brothers salvage in California. They are on ebay as well and have a lot of the Oldsmobile lineup in their yard.
Hope this is a help or at least a lead.
