Removing Trim Strips

Are there screws at each end of the trim strips that are located under the rear windows ('69 442)?? I don't see them in my Chassis manual. If there are, then I guess it requires removing the interior panels to access them?? Thanks!!

Is this the trim at the bottom of the vinyl top? If so, look inside the trunk first. I think you can reach the rear one, but am thinking your right and will need to remove the sail panel inside to get to the front one. But one of the other 68-69 guys may chime in and give you a more firm answer.

No, it's a coupe.....the trim wraps around the underside of the window....continuation of the drip rail trim.

There is a 3/8 hex plastic nut at the front of the trim, 'behind' the inner panel. Since you have a '69, if you remove the door jamb vent you might be able to stick your hand in there if your mitt is small enough. I think the rest of the trim pops off, but I haven't had one apart for a long while. Try that.
