Rear Wing install and rework

I purchased this rear wing from Tamraz and as you can see it need significant rework. I used the Olds assembly manual to get the correct mount points and although I wasn't happy with the quality of the wing, nifty registration widgets came with the package.

I'm curious as to how effective that body hammer was on those fiberglass parts...

I also purchased mine from Tamraz about 4 years ago. I also had to completely re do the bases and re shape them to the trunk lid. The wing on top was really wavy and needed a lot of attention and long blocking to bring it flat. But it was inexpensive up front. Not in the end with all my labor in to it.

Yeah the hammer was "just in case", things didn't work out. That was the last part I've purchased from Tamraz ('bout 8 months ago), wasn't really worth all the extra effort...I could have done better at other reputable suppliers, you get what you pay for and in some cases less.
