Rear trunk spoiler mount leaks water

I have a 1970 442 clone and when I bought it, it had a rear spoiler already mounted to a standard Cutlass trunk lid. I like the way it looks so I'm going to leave it there but everytime I wash the car, the trunk gets a lot of water in it. The rubber seal around the trunk lid looks like new so I'm assuming it is leaking where the two mounting posts attach to the deck lid. I've searched around to see if anyone makes a rubber gasket where the uprights meet the trunk but don't see any offered. I've sprayed undercoat up into the mounting holes under the trunk lid but it still leaks. Any ideas how I can stop the water from draining into my trunk? Thanks
